Ristorante con un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo, assolutamente da provare a Madrid. Ma va prenotato con largo anticipo, c’è una lunga lista di attesa per il servizio perfetto, veloce e attento, i prezzi estremamente contenuti e la grande attenzione alla qualità dei cibi. Particolarmente eccezionale il pesce, sorprendentemente abbordabile nel prezzo. Veramente squisiti i dolci, impossibile non fare il bis. L’ambiente è molto rilassante e semplice, con tocchi di design e un’ottima clientela molto trendy, soprattutto gente del cinema e vip spagnoli.
Una citazione a parte merita il simpatico proprietario del locale, Pepe Caldas, che vi sorprenderà per la travolgente carica mediterranea. Impossibile non notarlo dentro al locale: spilungone e pelato con un gran sorriso sornione e una camminata molto cinematografica. Conosce benissimo l’Italia e, in particolare, Roma dove è stato spesso e dove ogni tanto torna. Grande affabulatore, vi racconterà delle sue serate a zonzo nei locali della Capitale. Dove non esclude, prima o poi, di aprire un locale come Puerto Lagasca.

My wife and I had wonderful meals at your restaurant on 18 th September and 20 th September.
On the 18th Laura served us. She translated the menu and was an excellent hostess. On the 20th Adrian served us and also did an excellent job.

We thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful food, atmosphere , friendliness of the staff and the wine. We had the best meals during our 6 day stay in Madrid at Puerto Lagasca and will recommend it highly .

Well it would seem Pepe Caldas is making quite a name for himself because even here in London where i live the word has spread fast about this newly opened restaurant Puerto Lagasca.
Friends of mine visiting Madrid have given spectacular reviews about this place and i can’t wait to go taste the authentic delights on offer myself when i travel to Madrid this summer.

I am very happy to be advised to go to see Pepe Caldas. His food was so fresh and straightforward. Truth be told, it was a Spain highlight for us, foodwise. I don’t know why more restaurants don’t get it… Just use the freshest and best ingredients and prepare them simply. Pepe’s wine was also very good and he was lovely to us.
